What Shine Anywhere collects when you request a booking, who processes it, and your rights.

This policy explains what Shine Anywhere (shineanywhere.co.nz) collects, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who We Are
Shine Anywhere is operated by GLX Technologies LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (United States), which is the data controller for everything described here.

What We Collect
When you request a booking
The form asks for your name, a contact (email address or phone number), your Auckland suburb, your vehicle type, the service you want, your preferred timing, and any notes you add about the vehicle or the address. We use them to reply with availability and a quote, to do the work, and to contact you about that booking.
The form also carries a hidden field that is only there to catch automated spam. If you fill it in, we discard the request.
When you email us
Your address and whatever you write. We keep the correspondence only as long as needed to deal with it.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, self-hosted on our own infrastructure, to see aggregate statistics: page views, referral sources and device type. Plausible is cookieless, collects no personal data, cannot identify individual visitors, and shares nothing with third parties. We use no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels and no cross-site tracking.
We also load a first-party script that records which images were shown on a page. It counts impressions against our own assets; it does not identify you.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies and our analytics are cookieless by design.
Who Else Processes Your Data
- Cloudflare, Inc. — content delivery, TLS and DDoS protection for every request to this site.
- Our own infrastructure — the servers that host this site and the automation that receives your booking request are operated by GLX Technologies LLC. Your request is not sent to a third-party marketing platform, and we do not pass it to anyone who is not doing the work.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
How Long We Keep Things

Your Rights
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to how we use it. If you are in the UK, the European Union or the European Economic Area, the GDPR also gives you the right to port your data and to restrict its processing. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what we collect, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale — we sell none.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@shineanywhere.co.nz. We respond within 30 days, and you may complain to the privacy or data-protection authority where you live.
Data Deletion
Email hello@shineanywhere.co.nz with the subject “Data deletion request”. We confirm and delete within 30 days, except for records tax law requires us to keep.
International Transfers
We are a US company. Our servers are rented from an international hosting provider, so your data may be processed outside the country you live in and is administered from the United States. Where a transfer requires a legal mechanism, we rely on the standard contractual clauses our providers offer.
Children’s Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to This Policy
When we change this policy we update this page and revise the “Last updated” date.
